To all you fucktards who think that Jeffree Star is a rip off for the chorus in his new song, GET YOUR GODDAM HEAD OUTTA YOUR ASS. It’s called a sample you fucking morons. If he was ripping off the song, I’m sure he would have changed the melody of the chorus. Besides, Jeffree does it way hotter than Michael Jackson.

I just wanted to correct you morons saying it is Michael Jackson that sang the original version. It was Barry Gordy’s (the founder of Motown Records) son Rockwell that sang it and Michael just did background vocals! That is all. Oh, and Jeffree fucking butchered his version too! =D

he actually did change the melody of the chorus. if you listen to the rockwell version’s chorus and then jeffree star’s chorus, its not the same melody, but not by much. there’s maybe one or two notes that are different. its the vanilla ice syndrome. its what he did to Under Pressure for Ice Ice Baby, he just “took out that little bitty ting,” lol.

A sample has to be under 5 or 6 seconds for it to be considered that, if it’s any longer it’s no longer a sample, and you can get sued. Well known DJ Timbaland is currently in a lawsuit for his song ‘Do It” by Nelly Furtado. He sampled more than 6 seconds of a a song from an atari game. BE ORIGINAL! DON’T TAKE FROM OTHERS! CREATE YOUR OWN Samples!
